No. Once you register, you will be sent an email from the TigerGraph Cloud team to sign up for a free TigerGraph Cloud Account.
Judges are responsible for grading submissions. They will be assigned to grade categories that align with their background. Domain experts are responsible for developing a problem statement and relevant resources that go along with their problem statement. Domain Experts are also judges and will be grading submissions that were submitted for their problem statement(s).
We want to unlock peoples’ passions and creativity for solving problems that matter most to them and to show the world through the diverse submissions that graph has vast use case potential and the power to find insights behind complex problems.
The free tier offered through the challenge allows contestants to keep their solution live for 30 days beyond their most recent log into their account versus 7 days in the free tier offered directly on TigerGraph.

No. You can enter as an individual or as part of a team. If you are an individual looking to find a teammate or join an existing team, you can join the TigerGraph discord community here and let members know you are looking to join their team or start a team.

Each entry will be evaluated by multiple judges using an internal judging rubric. We have recruited qualified judges coming from a wide range of backgrounds, companies, and global regions. Completed entries will be evaluated by at least one global external judge and one TigerGraph judge.

The first option is to use any datasets offered under the resources section of the individual problem statements. You can see this under the Problem Statement section here. You can also check out datasets from our partner, here. Alternatively, you can use your own datasets.

Your submission, including your dataset(s), does not have to be open source, however our judges must be able to see your code, replicate your project and see your data. We highly recommend anonymizing sensitive data if you are concerned about privacy. TigerGraph will follow the same data privacy rules we use for our customers.
